Who is RJMetrics designed for?
RJMetrics is designed for businesses and nonprofits that operate database-driven websites. Most of our customers are in the e-commerce, software-as-a-service, social media, and online content industries. We also work with investors and consulting firms who use our tools for their portfolio and client companies.
Back to topWhat does it cost?
RJMetrics is a hosted service that is billed monthly or annually. Subscription rates are based on the size of your database, the number of users who will access RJMetrics, and the number of data sources that will be connected. To view the subscription levels and sign up, click here.
Back to topWhat are the technical requirements to use RJMetrics?
We currently support companies using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server as their production database platform. Our dashboards are viewed in your web browser. We test for compatibility with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Opera.
Back to topIs my data secure?
We take security extremely seriously and employ several protections to prevent unauthorized access to your data. Some of our safeguards include:
- All data replication takes place over a secure connection
- The data we replicate is stored on our fully-dedicated, highly-secured servers
- We do not replicate sensitive customer data that is irrelevant to our analysis (e.g. customer names, credit card information, home addresses).
- Our clients have the option to make parts of their database inaccessible to us for an additional, foolproof layer of security
- Access to your charts and reports can be limited to specific IP addresses and all access attempts are logged and monitored for suspicious activity
Do I have to install any software or hardware?
No.
Back to topHow is RJMetrics different from the big Business Intelligence (BI) vendors?
RJMetrics was built from the ground up with the modern online business in mind. Many BI vendors try to be everything to everyone, but our opinion is that the right solution for GE is probably not the right solution for an eCommerce or web application business. As such, our software is optimized for the nuances of an online business and provides value faster with less customization. Instead of six-figure implementation costs and multi-month installation schedules, RJMetrics delivers analytics, insights, and dashboards in weeks without work from your team.
Back to topIs this web analytics like Google Analytics or Omniture?
No, RJMetrics provides database analytics. We use different data than web analytics vendors and answer different questions. Web analytics tools collect data using a combination of javascript tags and cookies, while we use the data you already store in the database that powers your website. This enables us to analyze data from the entire history of your business, even if you have been in business for years before trying us out. The questions that web analytics tools answer pertain to visits, visitors, referring sites, and which pages were visited. Our analytics answer questions about how much to pay to acquire different types of customers, trends in loyalty and retention, and how to create targeted email lists.
Back to topDo I have to sign up for a long term contract?
No, you can cancel at anytime.
Back to topHow do I get technical support?
You can reach us during business hours at 1-877-684-1394 and support@rjmetrics.com. We generally respond to support questions during business hours within 90 minutes.
Back to topWhat if I lose my username or password?
Your email address is your username, and your password can be reset from the log in page. If you have further problems, contact us.
